Since quitting alcohol in 2019, I’ve experienced a level of happiness and peace I never thought possible.
Despite being a successful business owner, mother, and yoga teacher, I was trapped in a cycle of drinking to cope with stress and anxiety. I drank to relax, fit in, and numb my feelings, which slowly drained my motivation and self-worth.
After losing my parents, I realized I needed to change. I sought help at an in-patient clinic, which transformed my journey to sobriety. Since then, I've become passionate about understanding how I got caught in the alcohol trap and breaking free from shame.
